Born on the beaches of Sydney, Australia in 1975. Seafolly is Australia's largest swimwear brand with over 2700 stockists worldwide. It was founded in 1975 by Peter and Yvonne Halas: A family who's love for beach culture ended up in launching a swimwear brand that prides itself on fashion-forward prints, cuts and good quality.
Son and Vice president- Anthony Halas says the origins of Seafolly were simple: 'My father, Peter Halas, arrived in Australia as an immigrant from Hungary in 1956. He immediately fell in love with the beach culture in Sydney and even met my mother, Yvonne, in Bondi Beach.
Anthony took over the family business and has now pushed the brand on to become a cult label at home in Australia and abroad. Seafolly sells more than AUD $200 million of beachwear annually, according to recent figures sourced by the Herald Sun.
Seafolly embodies the ultimate Australian summer: surf, sun and sand. They use bold prints, interesting textures and modern cuts which allows them to stand out from the crowd. They also design with a variety of body shapes in mind- pleasing a variety of tastes, ages and body shapes.
"At Seafolly you’ll find everything you’ll need to make this summer one to remember, whether you’re planning to laze by the pool, score some runs in beach cricket or simply spend time soaking up the sun."
