3 perfect Autumn escapes in the UK

As the season begins to change and summer becomes a long lost memory our weekends go from long balmy nights by the sea, to cosy nights in with Netflix. So here are a few weekends trip in the UK to help you survive the Autumn and keep you from getting cabin fever.

Isles of Scilly:

Known for its stunning beaches, The Isles of Scilly are an archipelago off the southern tip of Cornwall. A stunning, unspoilt and magical place it is perfect to set off on a walking tour or simply just relax and enjoy the beauty of the island escape.

The Pig hotel in New forest:

The pig hotel in Brokenhurst is a stunning country hotel tucked away in the heart of the New Forest. It homely, cosy and a foodies paradise. Nosh on some amazing locally sourced food, snuggle up by the fire or explore the local countryside where you are bound to spot a number of wild ponies!

The Wales coastal path:

Autumn is the best time for spotting wildlife along the coast of Wales. In Pembrokeshire you can see an array of grey seals who give birth between September and December: over 5,000 seal pups are born every year. If you’re lucky you could also spot a few whales or dolphins too, so get your binoculars and your camera ready and go wildlife spotting!
